为探究颗粒模型缩放及输送机结构尺寸缩放对仿真结果的影响,应用相似理论和量纲分析法针对水平螺旋输送机的输送过程离散元仿真进行分析。通过维持充填系数不变来确保不同比例的仿真系统具有相同的输送特性,并从缩放前后系统重力系数不变的条件出发,研究各参数的缩放比例关系。在此基础上按照量纲分析结果进行参数设置,完成多组不同系统缩放比例的EDEM仿真。仿真结果分析发现:各组缩放比例下的水平螺旋输送系统输送特性均能保持一致;各组仿真的轴向输送速度、流量缩放比例与量纲分析结果一致,误差较小;仿真的时间尺度只受设备模型的缩放比例影响,不受颗粒模型缩放比例影响,在缩放后的系统中测量反映原系统某时刻具体参数的数值需要考虑时间尺度缩放的影响。
Abstract:
For the purpose of explore the influence of particle model scaling conveyor structure size scaling on the simulation results, the discrete element simulation of horizontal screw conveyor is analyzed by using similarity theory dimensional analysis method. By keeping the filling coefficient unchanged to ensure that the simulation systems with different proportions have the same transport acteristics, based on the condition that the gravity coefficient of the system remains unchanged before after scaling, the scaling relationship of each parameter is studied. On this basis, the parameters are set according to the results of dimensional analysis, several groups of EDEM simulations with different system scaling are completed. According to the analysis of the simulation results, it is found that the transportation acteristics of the horizontal screw conveying system under each scale ratio are consistent, the axial conveying speed flow scaling ratio of each simulation are consistent with the results of dimensional analysis, the error is small. The time scale of the simulation is only affected by the scaling ratio of the equipment model, but not by the scaling ratio of the particle model. in the scaled system, it is necessary to consider the influence of time scale when measuring the specific parameters of the original system at a certain time.
